Talking about the benefits of no silk screen on multi-layer PCB circuit boards
Since the beginning of electronic design, circuit board manufacturers have been producing multi-layer PCB circuit boards with various functions throughout. Every time the front side is printed with a silk screen, if there are parts on the back, the back is also printed; later, I accidentally found that the precision multi-layer PCB circuit board produced by batch circuit boards in some places is very clean without any silk screen. Many benefits:
1. When making the PCB light board, because there are less two layers (if there are parts on the back), the cost can be reduced.
2. Make the surface of the PCB circuit board clean and tidy, and avoid the influence of the silk screen on the welding quality.
3. Reduce the workload of hardware engineers. At least putpartname is not needed, and there is no need to make upper and lower silk screen Gerber files.
Of course, if there is some information on the silk screen layer that must be expressed: for example, the direction of the socket, the warning of high voltage hazard, the label paste frame, etc. At this time, the corresponding silk screen layer must be made.
