Lidar (LDS)

With the addition of lidar, the sweeping robot can have more precise positioning, even in a dark environment. Of course, after installing the lidar, there are also two disadvantages. Infrared photoelectric sensor
According to the PCB board editor, the purpose of installing this sensor is to facilitate the detection of the solution. For example, there is a group of stains on the ground, but after the cleaning is completed, I do not know whether it is cleaned. A certain wavelength of infrared light-emitting diodes can be used as the detection light source, and the transmitted light intensity of the stains on the ground can be detected to detect the degree of turbidity of the solution, and finally help the sweeping robot to judge whether it is cleaned.
In addition, the infrared sensor can also help the sweeping robot avoid obstacles. When an obstacle is detected, the sweeping robot will automatically slow down and touch the obstacle, and determine whether the obstacle is a passable obstacle such as curtains and tassel, and try to do as much as possible. PSD position sensor
A PSD position sensor is an optical detector that measures the continuous position of a light spot on the detector surface. It is a new type of photoelectric device, or called coordinate photocell. It is a non-segmented device that converts the spot position on the photosensitive surface into an electrical signal.
Acting on the sweeping robot, the main purpose is to let it emit modulated infrared light along the wall, so that the sweeping robot can better fit the wall or obstacles when it is on the wall and passing obstacles, ensuring that Cleaning has no dead ends.
