PCB, which is Printed Circuit Board, is an electronic component that prints circuit design patterns on a special circuit board and printed and baked through electrochemical processes. The origin can be traced back to the 1950s.
At that time, with the emergence of transistor and other modern electronics, circuit design began to become more complicated and diverse. As a result, they began to print and bake circuit patterns with printing circuit boards in order to manufacture and test electronic components faster.
The original printing circuit board was made of copper plate, and then transformed it into the required shape and size through electrochemical process. This method is called "electrochemical deposition", which uses chemicals to deposit metal on the circuit board. In the 1960s, with the development of technology, copper plates could be used for printing circuit patterns, and they could manufacture and test electronic components more quickly.
With the continuous development of printing circuit board technology, it is widely used in various electronic equipment and components, such as computers, television, telephone, automobiles and medical equipment. Now, PCB has become an important part of electronic manufacturing and electronic product design.
