Manual visual inspection is mainly to check PCB solder paste printing and solder joints by naked eye or with the help of some simple optical amplification instruments. It plays an important role in improving the quality of assembled products. The main contents of manual eye inspection are as follows:
1. Solder paste printing. Check items: whether the parameters of solder paste printing machine are set correctly; Solder paste is printed on the pad, its height is consistent or presents a "trapezoidal" shape; The edges of the paste should not be rounded or collapsed into a pile. If the solder paste distribution is not uniform, it is necessary to test whether the solder paste on the scraper is insufficient, and also need to check the printing plate and other parameters. Finally, check whether the paste is bright after printing under the microscope.
2. Placement of components. Check item: Before placing components and printing of the PCB on the first solder paste, confirm whether the material rack is properly placed, whether the components are correct and whether the machine is in the correct position of the material. After COMPLETING THE FIRST PCB, CHECK IN DETAIL THAT EACH COMPONENT IS PROPERLY PLACED AND LIGHTLY PRESSED IN THE CENTER OF THE SOLDER PASTE AND NOT JUST "PLACED" ON TOP OF THE SOLDER PASTE. If the paste is slightly dented in the microscope, it is placed correctly. Whether all components on the material list are consistent with those on the PCB. Whether all components sensitive to positive and negative electrodes, such as diodes, tantalum electrolytic capacitors and ics, are placed in the correct direction.
